Six top junior girls have been named to the 2019 Team USA National Junior Team, a training program designed to give a collection of America’s best young players, born in either 2003 or 2004, opportunities to train together during the summer and travel to play against top junior competition from around the world. The boys’ team was selected in March.

Five players earned selection onto the team based on automatic qualification, while Ellie Coleman qualified for the team through a playoff, held April 30-May 3 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. Players were invited for the playoff based on ITF World Tennis Tour junior or USTA national ranking.
