A week after winning the singles title at the Junior International Teen Tennis tournament in Bolton, England, Victor Lilov did it again.

The 13-year-old from Raleigh, N.C., made history Sunday by capturing the singles championship at the Les Petits As 14-and-under junior tournament in Tarbes, France.

The prestigious event counts Rafael Nadal and Kim Clijsters among its previous champions.

Lilov is the ninth player, male or female, to win both the Teen Tennis and Les Petits As singles titles in the same year and the fourth American, following CiCi Bellis (2013), Frances Tiafoe (2012) and Donald Young (2003), to accomplish the feat since the Teen Tennis event began in 1995.

Lilov defeated top-seeded Mikhail Gorokhov of Russia, 6-4, 7-6, in the singles final and teamed with 14-year-old Evan Wen of Morristown, N.J., to win the doubles title, defeating Italians Niccolo Ciavarella and Daniele Minighini, 6-0, 6-3, in the final.
