SKILLMAN, N.J. -- The battle continues between Florida and Stanford, who have jostled back and forth at the top of the women's Campbell/ITA Team Rankings nearly all spring. The latest episode appears in this week's rankings, where Florida has once again jumped Stanford, despite the fact that the Cardinal are the only remaining undefeated women's Division I team.

On the men's side, Virginia looks to conclude its fifth straight regular season ranked first in the Campbell/ITA College Tennis Rankings. Having relinquished the top spot just once in the 2010-11 season, Virginia continues to hold a sizable lead over its competition. Unlike the fight for the top spot in the women's rankings, the battle in the men's team rankings is over the No. 2 slot. For the fourth time in the last five weeks, a new team moves one step closer to the Cavs, in a carousel between Ohio State, USC and Tennessee.

Follow the Leader: For the men, following Virginia is (in order): Ohio State, USC, Tennessee, Georgia, Texas A&M, Baylor, Stanford, Pepperdine and Duke. On the women's side, Florida is followed by: Stanford, Duke, North Carolina, Miami (FL), UCLA, Baylor, Georgia, California and Michigan.

Conference Count: The number of men's and women's teams from each conference that appears in the Campbell/ITA Division I Top 25 Rankings are listed numerically. Men's Top 25: SEC - 6; Pac-10 - 5; ACC, Big Ten and Big 12 - 4; WCC - 1. Women's Top 25: ACC and SEC - 6; Pac-10 - 5; Big 12 - 3; Big Ten - 2 and Big East, Conference USA and WCC - 1.

Twice as Nice: The Michigan men and Washington women fell out of the top 25 this week, decreasing the number of institutions that have both their men's and women's programs ranked inside the Campbell/ITA Top 25 Rankings to 14.

Coming Up Next: The 2011 Campbell/ITA Team Rankings continue next Tuesday, April 19, while the next singles and doubles is scheduled for April 26, which continue to be published every other week for the rest of the season.
