Americans win titles at Teen Tennis, Les Petits As

In an all-American girls' doubles final at Les Petits As, Gabrielle Andrews and Brooke Austin teamed to defeat Taylor Townsend and Alex Stiteler, 6-3, 6-4.

Americans Gabrielle Andrews and Stefan Kozlov won the girls' and boys' singles titles, respectively, at Teen Tennis in Bolton, England.

Andrews defeated fellow American Brooke Austin, 2-6, 6-0, 6-3, in the girls' final, and also teamed with Austin to win the girls' doubles title. Kozlov beat T. Brechemier of France, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, in the boys' singles championship.

Players announced for 2010 Teen Tennis, Les Petits As

Ten talented 14-and-under girls, boys and wheelchair junior players from the United States have been selected to represent the country in two of the world's most prestigious 14-and-under tournaments -- Teen Tennis in England and Les Petits As in France. The ETA events will be held from Jan. 17-Feb. 1, and the players named to compete are:

USTA National Coaches Kathy Rinaldi, Kent Kinnear and Dan James will be accompanying the players on the trip, with Rinaldi and Kinnear coaching the girls and boys, respectively, and James coaching the wheelchair players.

A number of current and former tennis stars competed in one or both of the events when they were juniors, including Kim Clijsters, Lindsay Davenport, Elena Dementieva, Justine Henin, Martina Hingis, Michael Chang, Juan Martin del Potro, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.
