The monthly USTA Player Development Player and Coach Honor Roll recognizes the top performing young Americans and their coaches each month.

Here’s a look at some of the most outstanding performances turned in by American tennis players ages 20 and younger in September:

Collin Altamirano (Dec. 7, 1995), Yuba City, Calif. – Reached the singles semifinals at the $10,000 Futures event in Claremont, Calif. He is coached by Joseph Gilbert.

Abi Altick (May 20, 1998), Monroe, La. – Reached the girls’ semis at the Grade 2 U18 Canada World Ranking junior event in Montreal. She is coached by Mark Wellington and Carlos Zapata.

Alafia Ayeni (Aug. 10, 1999), San Diego – Won the boys’ doubles title at the Grade 2 U18 Canada World Ranking junior event in Montreal and reached the singles semis at the Grade 2 China Junior 16 Beijing event. He is coached by Brian Teacher.

Deiton Baughman (April 23, 1996), Carson, Calif. – Won his third pro circuit Futures title of 2015 at the $10,000 tournament in Claremont, Calif., then reached the semis of the $10,000 Futures in Costa Mesa, Calif. He is coached by his father, Brad.

Russell Benkaim (Feb. 8, 2000), Osprey, Fla. – Won the boys’ doubles title at the Grade 5 Copa Coqui junior event in Puerto Rico. He is coached by Red Ayme.

Safiya Carrington (June 23, 2001), South Hadley, Mass. – Won the girls’ doubles title at the Grade 2 U18 Canada World Ranking junior event in Montreal. She is coached by her father, Lex.

Caleb Chakravarthi (Jan. 2, 1999), Irvine, Calif. – Won the boys’ doubles title at the Grade 2 U18 Canada World Ranking junior event in Montreal.

Abigail Chiu (June 1, 1998), Austin, Texas – Won the girls’ doubles title at the Grade 5 Austin ITF junior tournament. She is coached Brandon Davis.

Nicole Conard (March 4, 2000), Boca Raton, Fla. – Won the girls’ doubles title at the Grade 4 ATV junior event in Villa Alemana, Chile. She is coached by Maurice Trail.

Morgan Coppoc (April 16, 1999), Tulsa, Okla. – Reached the girls’ semis at the Grade 2 U18 Canada World Ranking junior event in Montreal. She is coached by Trent Tucker.

Samantha Crawford (Feb. 18, 1995), Atlanta – Qualified and reached the quarterfinals at the WTA tournament in Quebec. She is coached by Michael Joyce.

Sabina Dadaciu (April 6, 2001), Tequesta, Fla. – Swept the singles and doubles titles at the Grade 5 Honduras Junior Bowl and won the singles title at the Grade 5 Copa Arabe Internacional junior event in Honduras the next week.

Kayla Day (Sept. 28, 1999), Santa Barbara, Calif. – Went 4-0 in singles and 2-2 in doubles to help the U.S. to a second-place finish at the 16-and-under Junior Fed Cup in Madrid, Spain. She is coached by Mike Gennette, Aaron Webster, Adam Peterson and Leo Azevedo.

Jenna Dean (June 18, 2000), Bradenton, Fla. – Won the girls’ doubles title at the Grade 5 Copa Coqui junior event in Puerto Rico.

Francesca DiLorenzo (July 22, 1997), New Albany, Ohio – Reached the girls’ singles and doubles semifinals at the US Open. She is coached by Ann Wunderlich.

Ellie Douglas (May 23, 2000), McKinney, Texas – Won the girls’ singles title at the Grade 5 Austin ITF junior tournament.

Arnav Dhingra (July 3, 2000), Darnestown, Md. – Qualified and reached the boys’ singles final at the Grade 5 ITF Copa Mangu junior event in the Dominican Republic. He is coached by Vince Palupa.

Brady Draheim (Sept. 12, 1998), Omaha, Neb. – reached the boys’ singles final at the Grade 5 Austin ITF junior tournament. He is coached by Marco Rodriguez.

Ernesto Escobedo (July 4, 1996), West Covina, Calif. – Reached the singles final at the $10,000 Futures event in Costa Mesa, Calif. He is coached by his father, Ernesto.

Taylor Fritz (Oct. 28, 1997), Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. – Fritz (pictured above), the world’s top-ranked junior, beat fellow American Tommy Paul to win the US Open boys’ singles title. He is coached by his father, Guy.

Zachary Garner (March 25, 1999), Henderson, Nev. – Won boys’ doubles titles at two Grade 5 junior events, the Copa Arabe Internacional in Honduras and the Copa Mangu in the Dominican Republic. He is coached by Taylor Dent and Billy DeRango.

Nadia Gizdova (Oct. 23, 1998), Columbia, Md. – Reached the girls’ singles final and won the doubles title at the Grade 5 Austin ITF junior event and also qualified and reached the singles final at the Grade 5 Copa Coqui tournament in Puerto Rico. She is coached by Vesa Ponkka.

Michaela Gordon (July 26, 1999), Los Altos Hills, Calif. – Won her only singles match to help the U.S. to a second-place finish at the 16-and-under Junior Fed Cup in Madrid, Spain. She is coached by John Hubbell.

Kacie Harvey (Aug. 27, 2001), Braintree, Mass. – Swept the girls’ singles and doubles titles at the Grade 5 Copa Mangu junior event in the Dominican Republic after winning the doubles title and reaching the singles semis at the Grade 5 Honduras Junior Bowl. She is coached by Calin Mateas.

Trey Hilderbrand (May 15, 2000), San Antonio, Texas – Won the boys’ singles title and reached the doubles final at the Grade 5 Austin ITF junior tournament. He is coached by his father, Mark.

Brandon Holt (April 6, 1998), Rolling Hills, Calif. – Won the doubles title at the $10,000 USTA Futures event in Laguna Niguel, Calif. He is coached by Peter Lucassen.

Sofia Kenin (Nov. 14, 1998), Pembroke Pines, Fla. – Reached the girls’ singles final at the US Open. She is coached by her father, Alex.

Madison Keys (Feb. 17, 1995), Rock Island, Ill. – Advanced to the fourth round of the US Open main draw, falling to Serena Williams. She is coached by Lindsay Davenport.

Mac Kiger (Dec. 19, 1998), Katonah, N.Y. – Won the boys’ doubles title at the Grade 5 Austin ITF junior tournament. He is coached by Vijay Laad.

Vasil Kirkov (March 13, 1999), Tampa, Fla. – Went 3-2 in doubles while representing the U.S. at the 16-and-under Junior Davis Cup in Madrid, Spain. The U.S. finished in seventh place. He is coached by his father Stoyan.

Sebastian Korda (July 5, 2000), Bradenton, Fla. – Qualified and reached the singles semifinals at the Grade 5 Austin ITF junior tournament. He is coached by his father, Petr.

Stefan Kozlov (Feb. 1, 1998), Pembroke Pines, Fla. – Reached the singles semifinals and the doubles final at the $10,000 ITF Futures event in Solin, Croatia. He is coached by his father, Andrei.

Zoe Kulkarni (Nov. 16, 1998), Portland, Ore. – Qualified and reached the girls’ singles semis at the Grade 5 Copa Coqui junior event in Puerto Rico.

Patrick Kypson (Oct. 28, 1999), Greenville, N.C. – Went 2-2 in singles and doubles while representing the U.S. at the 16-and-under Junior Davis Cup in Madrid, Spain. The U.S. finished in seventh place. He is coached by Mat and Chris Cloer.

Lane Leschly (April 2, 1998), Atherton, Calif. – Reached the boys’ singles semifinals at the Grade 5 Luzern Junior Competition tournament in Switzerland. He is coached by his father, Mark.

Claire Liu (May 25, 2000), Thousand Oaks, Calif. – Went 4-1 in singles and 3-0 in doubles to help the U.S. to a second-place finish at the 16-and-under Junior Fed Cup in Madrid, Spain. She is coached by Mike Gennette, Adam Peterson and Leo Azevedo.

Jessica Livianu (Feb. 22, 1998), Brooklyn, N.Y. – Reached the girls’ singles final at the Grade 2 U18 Canada World Ranking junior event in Montreal.

Maria Mateas (July 21, 1999), Braintree, Mass. – Won the girls’ singles title at the Grade 2 U18 Canada World Ranking junior event in Montreal. She is coached by her father, Calin.

Mackenzie McDonald (April 16, 1995), Piedmont, Calif. – Reached the singles final at the $10,000 USTA Futures in Claremont, Calif., won the doubles title at the $10,000 Futures in Costa Mesa, Calif., then reached the semifinals at the $100,000 Challenger in Tiburon, Calif.

Kylie McKenzie (March 21, 1999), Anthem, Ariz. – Reached the girls’ singles quarterfinals at the US Open. She is coached by Lou Belken.

Malkia Menguene (Aug. 8, 2000), Washington, D.C. – Only lost one match in singles or doubles over three ITF junior events in September: won singles titles at the Grade 4 in Benin and two consecutive Grade 5s in Togo and won doubles titles in Benin and the second Grade 5 in Togo. She is coached by Bob Pass.

Sebastian Mermersky (April 9, 1999), Washington, D.C. – Won the boys’ doubles title at the Grade 5 Austin ITF junior tournament. He is coached by Agathe Belebi.

Michael Mmoh (Jan. 10, 1998), Bradenton, Fla. – Reached the boys’ singles quarterfinals at the US Open. He is coached by Glenn Weiner.

Nicole Mossmer (Aug. 5, 2000), La Jolla, Calif. – Reached the girls’ singles semifinals at the Grade 5 Austin ITF junior tournament.

Kianah Motosono (Feb. 11, 2000), Miami, Fla. – Won the doubles title and reached the singles semis at the Grade 5 Copa Mangu junior event in the Dominican Republic. She is coached by Matias Polonsky.

Adam Neff (May 30, 2001), Bradenton, Fla. – Won the boys’ doubles title at the Grade 5 Honduras Junior Bowl. He is coached Lance Luciani.

Xavier Oshinowo (Dec. 8, 1997), Katy, Texas – Reached the singles semis at the Grade 5 Honduras Junior Bowl. He is coached by Reggie Moralejo.

Tommy Paul (May 17, 1997), Greenville, N.C. – Reached the boys’ singles final at the US Open, falling to Taylor Fritz in a rematch of the French Open boys’ final, won by Paul. He is coached by Diego Moyano.

Kariann Pierre-Louis (Jan. 16, 1999), Miami, Fla. – Won the girls’ doubles title at the Grade 2 U18 Canada World Ranking junior event in Montreal. She is coached by Bill Adams.

Sam Riffice (March 1, 1999), Roseville, Calif. – Went 1-0 in singles and 1-1 in doubles before suffering an injury while representing the U.S. at the 16-and-under Junior Fed Cup in Madrid, Spain. The U.S. finished in seventh place. He is coached by his mother, Lori.

Jimena Rodriguez-Benito (July 7, 2000), Miami, Fla. – Won the girls’ doubles title at the Grade 5 Copa Coqui junior event in Puerto Rico and reached the singles semis at the Grade 5 Copa Mangu event in the Dominican Republic.

Gianni Ross (Feb. 4, 1999), Burr Ridge, Ill. – Qualified and reached the semifinals of the Grade 1 Canadian Open Junior Championships. He is coached by Jack Sharpe.

Noah Rubin (Feb. 21, 1996), Rockville Centre, N.Y. – Reached the singles semifinals at the $15,000 ITF Futures in Markham, Canada. He is coached by Lawrence Kleger and his father, Eric.

Alex Rybakov (Jan. 27, 1997), Coral Springs, Fla. – Reached the boys’ singles quarterfinals at the US Open. He is coached by his father, Nick.

Timothy Sah (Aug. 9, 1999), San Diego, Calif. – Went undefeated in singles and doubles in two Grade 5 junior events, sweeping the singles and doubles titles at the Copa Mangu event in the Dominican Republic and the Copa Coqui tournament in Puerto Rico. He is coached by Steve Adamson.

Fletcher Scott (Dec. 10, 1998), Olathe, Kansas – Reached the singles final at the Grade 5 Copa Arabe Internacional junior event in Honduras and the singles semis at the Grade 5 Honduras Junior Bowl. He is coached by Barry King.

Alana Smith (Nov. 9, 1999), Fort Washington, Md. – Reached the girls’ singles final at the Grade 4 junior event in Benin and won doubles titles at the Grade 4 in Benin and a Grade 5 junior event in Togo. She is coached by Rozzell Lightfoot.

Riley Smith (June 5, 1997), Long Beach, Calif. – Won the doubles title at the $10,000 USTA Futures in Laguna Niguel, Calif. He is coached by his father, Peter.

Peyton Stearns (Oct. 8, 2001), Mason, Ohio – Reached the girls’ singles final at the Grade 5 Copa Mangu junior event in the Dominican Republic.

Camille Townsend (May 28, 2000), Coconut Creek, Fla. – Won the girls’ doubles title at the Grade 5 El Sauce Cup in Argentina. She is coached by Gustavo Granitto.

Katya Townsend (May 28, 2000), Coconut Creek, Fla. – Won the girls’ doubles title at the Grade 5 El Sauce Cup in Argentina. She is coached by Gustavo Granitto.

Sara Tsukamoto (March 21, 2000), Kailua Kona, Hawaii – Reached the girls’ singles semifinals at the Grade 5 GreenMax Cup Inte’l Junior Championships in Chinese Taipei. She is coached by Evan Schermer.

Konrad Zieba (July 22, 1995), Glenview, Ill. – Reached the semifinals of a $10,000 ITF Futures event in Poland. He is coached by Jacek Dabrowski and Arvid Swan.

Tyler Zink (Jan. 30, 2001), Lakewood Ranch, Fla. – Won the boys’ doubles title at the Grade 5 Honduras Junior Bowl. He is coached by his father, George.
