The monthly USTA Player Development Player and Coach Honor Roll recognizes the top performing young Americans and their coaches each month.

Here’s a look at some of the most outstanding performances turned in by American tennis players ages 20 and younger in October:

Christian Alshon (July 8, 2000), Boca Raton, Fla. – Reached the singles final and won the doubles title at the Grade 4 ITF Wichita Falls junior event in Texas. He is coached by Eleazar Magallan.

Usue Arconada (Oct. 28, 1998), College Park, Md. – Reached the quarterfinals at the $50,000 pro circuit event in Toronto. She is coached by Frank Salazar.

Alafia Ayeni (Aug. 10, 1999), San Diego – Won the singles title at the Grade 2 Japan Open ITF event in Tokyo. He is coached by his father, Anthony.

Chloe Beck (Aug. 30, 2001), Watkinsville, Ga. – Won the singles title at the Grade 4 Atlanta ITF junior event. She is coached by her father, Mike.

CiCi Bellis (April 8, 1999), Atherton, Calif. – Won the singles title at the $50,000 pro circuit event in Toronto. She is coached by Anibal Aranda and her mother, Lori.

Kennedy Bridgforth (Sept. 1, 2000), Bradenton, Fla. – Reached the semifinals of the Grade 5 ITF Copa Mangulina junior event in the Dominican Republic.

Catherine Broerman (May 8, 2001), Scottsdale, Ariz. – Reached the semifinals of the Grade 5 ITF Copa Mangulina junior event in the Dominican Republic. She is coached by Joey Blake.

Alexander Brown (May 2, 1999), Urbandale, Iowa – Won the singles title at the Grade B1 Pan-American Championship ITF junior event in Tulsa, Okla. He is coached by Elliott McDermed.

Kayla Day (Sept. 28, 1999), Santa Barbara, Calif. – Swept the singles and doubles titles at the Grade B1 Pan-American Championship ITF junior event in Tulsa, Okla. She is coached by Henner Nehles and Mike Gennette.

Francesca DiLorenzo (July 22, 1997), New Albany, Ohio – Reached the quarterfinals at the $50,000 USTA Pro Circuit tournament in Macon, Ga., and also won the singles title at the ITA/Riviera All-American Championships. She is coached by Ann Grossman.

Ellie Douglas (May 23, 2000), McKinney, Texas – Reached the singles final at the Grade B1 Pan-American Championship ITF junior event in Tulsa, Okla. She is coached by Luis Herrera.

Ernesto Escobedo (July 4, 1996), West Covina, Calif. – Won the singles title at the $100,000 Challenger in Monterrey, Mexico. He is coached by his father, Ernesto.

Salma Ewing (Aug. 18, 2000), Long Beach, Calif. – Won the singles title at the Grade 4 ITF Wichita Falls junior event in Texas. She is coached by her mother, Reyana.

Andrew Fenty (March 8, 2000), Washington, D.C. – Won the doubles title at the Grade 3 Raquette D’Or ITF junior event in Morocco. He is coached by Asaf Yamin.

Victoria Flores (April 1, 1999), Fort Dodge, Iowa – Reached the singles semifinals and won the doubles title at the Grade 4 Atlanta ITF junior event.

Sanyukta Gawande (Sept. 28, 2002), Palm Harbor, Fla. – Reached the singles semifinals at the Grade 5 ITF junior event in Humacao, P.R.

Lukas Greif (Dec. 2, 1999), Newburgh, Ind. – Reached the singles final and won the doubles title at the Grade B1 Pan-American Championship ITF junior event in Tulsa, Okla. He is coached by Stephanie Hazlett.

Addison Guevara (Nov. 8, 2000), Keller, Texas – Reached the singles semifinals at the Grade 4 ITF Wichita Falls junior event in Texas. She is coached by Dave Licker.

Dalayna Hewitt (Dec. 16, 2000), Pike, Ohio – Reached the singles semifinals at the Grade B1 Pan-American Championship ITF junior event in Tulsa, Okla. She is coached by Troy Budgen.

Aron Hiltzik (April 17, 1996), Wilmette, Ill. – Reached the singles final at the $25,000 USTA Pro Circuit men’s Futures in Houston.

Victoria Hu (April 25, 2002), Northborough, Mass. – Reached the singles final at the Grade 4 Atlanta ITF junior event. She is coached by John Evert.

McCartney Kessler (July 8, 1999), Calhoun, Ga. – Reached the singles final at the Grade 4 ITF Wichita Falls junior event in Texas. She is coached by Stephen Diaz.

Raveena Kingsley (July 23, 1998), Fulton, Md. – Reached the quarterfinals at the $50,000 pro circuit event in Toronto. She is coached by Phil Dent.

Boris Kozlov (Aug. 26, 2000), Pembroke Pines, Fla. – Reached the singles semifinals and won the doubles title at the Grade 4 ITF Wichita Falls junior event in Texas. He is coached by his father, Andrei.

Katie LaFrance (Sept. 29, 1999), Little Rock, Ark. – Reached the singles semifinals of the Grade 5 Tep Khunnah Memorial Cup junior event in Cambodia.

Ann Li (June 26, 2000), Devon, Pa. – Reached the singles semifinals at the Grade B1 Pan-American Championship ITF junior event in Tulsa, Okla. She is coached by Jon Glover.

Jaycer Lyeons (Nov. 15, 2000), Houston – Won the singles titles at the Grade 4 ITF junior events in Wichita Falls, Texas, and Atlanta. He is coached by his father, Joe.

Madeline Meredith (March 7, 1999), Birmingham, Ala. – Won the doubles title at the Grade 4 Atlanta ITF junior event. She is coached by Nick Saviano.

Michael Mmoh (Jan. 10, 1998), Bradenton, Fla. – Reached the singles semifinals at the $100,000 USTA Pro Circuit Challenger in Stockton, Calf. He is coached by Glenn Weiner.

Charlotte Owensby (March 16, 2003), Boca Raton, Fla. – Reached the singles semifinals at the Grade 4 Atlanta ITF junior event. She is coached by Yulia Beygelzimer.

Noah Rubin (Feb. 21, 1996), Merrick, N.Y. – Reached the singles final at the $100,000 USTA Pro Circuit Challenger in Stockton, Calf. He is coached by Stan Boster and Robby Ginepri.

Sean Sculley (Nov. 22, 1998), Hilton Head Island, S.C. – Reached the singles semifinals at the Grade 4 Atlanta ITF junior event.

Sofia Sewing (July 22, 1999), Miami – Won the doubles title at the Grade B1 Pan-American Championship ITF junior event in Tulsa, Okla.

Janice Shin (Jan. 5, 1999), Houston – Won the doubles title at the Grade 4 ITF Wichita Falls junior event in Texas. She is coached by Chris Bovett.

Elizabeth Tedford (Nov. 2, 1998), Dallas – Reached the singles semifinals and won the doubles title at the Grade 4 ITF Wichita Falls junior event in Texas. She is coached by Jean Andersen.

Danny Thomas (Nov. 22, 1999), Pickerington, Ohio – Won the doubles title at the Grade B1 Pan-American Championship ITF junior event in Tulsa, Okla.

Frances Tiafoe (Jan. 20, 1998), Hyattsville, Md. – Tiafoe (pictured above) won the singles title at the $100,000 USTA Pro Circuit Challenger in Stockton, Calf. He is coached by Nicolas Todero and Jose Higueras.

William Woodall (Feb. 14, 2000), Washington, D.C. – Reached the singles semifinals at the Grade 4 ITF Wichita Falls junior event in Texas. He is coached by Asaf Yamin.

Catherine Xu (March 24, 1999), Reston, Va. – Reached the singles semifinals at the Grade 5 ITF junior event in Humacao, P.R.
