The monthly USTA Player Development Player and Coach Honor Roll recognizes the top performing young Americans and their coaches each month.

Here’s a look at some of the most outstanding performances turned in by American tennis players ages 20 and younger in May:

Helen Abigail Altick (May 20, 1998), Monroe, La. –  Altick won the girls’ singles title at the Copa El Salvador ITF Junior Circuit event in La Libertad, El Salvador.

Brooke Austin (Feb. 12, 1996), Indianapolis – Austin won the singles title at the USTA Pro Circuit $10,000 event in Sumter, S.C. She works with Jeff and Bryan Smith.

Jack Barber (Feb. 12, 1997), La Jolla, Calif. – Barber took the South Pacific by storm, winning the boys’ singles and doubles titles at the Guam ITF Junior Championships in Hagatna, Guam, and winning the singles title at the IT&E Northern Marianans Junior Championships in Saipan, of the Northern Mariana Islands.

CiCi Bellis (April 8, 1999), Atherton, Calif. – Bellis became the top-ranked American junior at No. 3 in the world with her results on the ITF Junior Circuit in May. She won the singles title at the 55 Trofeo Bonfiglio event in Milan, Italy, a week after reaching the singles final at the 36 Torneo “Citta Di Santa Croce” Mauro Sabatini event in Santa Croce, Italy. She is coached by her mom, Lori.

William Blumberg (Jan. 26, 1998), Greenwich, Conn. – Blumberg won the boys’ singles title and paired up with Patrick Kypson (Oct. 28, 1999, Greenville, N.C.) to reach the doubles final at the ITF Junior Circuit event in Plantation, Fla. William works with USTA National Coach Jay Devashetty and Patrick is coached by Matt Cloer.

Samantha Crawford (Feb. 18, 1995), Atlanta – Crawford reached the semifinals of two $25,000 Pro Circuit events, in Raleigh, N.C., and Grado, Italy. She works with USTA National Coach Anibal Aranda.

Francesca Di Lorenzo (July 22, 1997), New Albany, Ohio – Di Lorenzo won the girls’ singles title at the ITF Junior Circuit event in Plantation, Fla. She is coached by Ty Tucker.

Caroline Dolehide (Sept. 5, 1998), Hinsdale, Ill. – Dolehide advanced to the semifinals of the USTA Pro Circuit $10,000 event in Hilton Head, S.C. She is coached by Tom Lockhart.

Jared Donaldson (Oct. 9, 1996), Cumberland, R.I. – Donaldson advanced to the singles semifinals at the Pro Circuit Futures in Antalya-Belconti, Turkey. He is coached by Taylor Dent.

Ernesto Escobedo (July 4, 1996), West Covina, Calif. – Escobedo qualified and reached the singles semifinals at the Pro Circuit Futures in Morelia, Mexico. He is coached by his father, Ernesto.

Katharine Fahey (Oct. 19, 1996), Fair Haven, N.J. – Fahey won the girls’ singles title at the ITF Junior Circuit event in Delray Beach, Fla. She is coached by Catarina Linquist & Ray Kusava.

Mia Horvit (July 23, 1997), Parkland, Fla. – Horvit put together two strong showings at ITF Junior Circuit events in Florida, reaching singles finals at events in Delray Beach and Plantation and partnering with Jenna Friedel (Oct. 21, 1997, Mill Valley, Calif.) to win the doubles title in Plantation. Mia is coached by Tom Downs, and Jenna is coached by Lawrence Carpio.

Madison Keys (Feb. 17, 1995), Rock Island, Ill. – Keys reached the semifinals at the WTA tournament in Strasbourg, France, before pushing No. 10 Sara Errani to three sets in the first round of the French Open. She works with USTA National Coach Juan Todero.

Mitchell Krueger (Jan. 12, 1994), Fort Worth, Texas – Krueger reached singles finals at Pro Circuit Futures events in Orange Park, Fla., and Cesena, Italy, with a semifinal appearance in Tampa, Fla. He is coached by Dave Licker.

Robert Levine (Sept. 18, 1997), Bedford, N.Y. – Levine teamed with Cataline Mateas to win the boys’ doubles title at the 35 Internationale Spring Bowl in Amstetten, Austria. He is coached by Carl Thorson.

Catalin Mateas (May 21, 1997), Braintree, Mass. – Mateas paired with Robert Levine to win the boys’ doubles title at the 35 Internationale Spring Bowl in Amstetten, Austria. He is coached by his father, Calin.

Alfredo Perez (May 22, 1997), Coral Gables, Fla. – Perez performed well at two ITF Junior Circuit tournaments in Florida last month. He won the singles title in Delray Beach and reached the singles final and won the doubles title, with Trent Bryde (Aug. 24, 1999, Suwanee, Ga.), in Plantation. He is coached by Robert Gomez.

Noah Rubin (Feb. 21, 1996), Rockville Centre, N.Y. – Rubin reached both the singles and doubles finals, partnering with Stefan Kozlov (Feb. 1, 1998, Pembroke Pines, Fla.), at the Pro Circuit Futures in Vic, Spain. He is coached by Lawrence Kleger.

Dominique Schaefer (Jan. 7, 1999), Ventura, Calif. – Schaefer paired with Sofia Sewing to win the girls’ doubles title at the ITF Junior Circuit event in Delray Beach, Fla., and to reach the doubles final the next week in Plantation, Fla. She is coached by Mark Weil.

Sofia Sewing (July 22, 1999), Doral, Fla. – Sewing and fellow American Dominique Schaefer teamed together to win the girls’ doubles title at the ITF Junior Circuit event in Delray Beach, Fla., and to reach the doubles final the next week in Plantation, Fla. She is coached by Carlos Casely.

Taylor Townsend (April 16, 1996), Chicago – Townsend, who won a USTA wild card into the main draw of the French Open with her results on the USTA Pro Circuit, reached the third round at Roland Garros in her Grand Slam debut, becoming the youngest American to reach the third round there since 2003. She is coached by Zina Garrison.

Dennis Uspensky (Oct. 22, 1996), Atlantic Beach, N.Y. – Uspensky won the boys’ singles title at the Panaceo ITF Junior Cup Villach 2014 in Austria.

Sachia Vickery (May 11, 1995), Hollywood, Fla. – Vickery qualified and reached the singles quarterfinals at the $100,000 Pro Circuit event in Cagnes-Sur-Mer, France. She works with USTA National Coach Kathy Rinaldi.

Claudia Wiktorin (Dec. 6, 1996), Davidson, N.C. – Wiktorin reached the girls’ singles final and won the doubles title at the Copa El Salvador ITF Junior Circuit event in La Libertad, El Salvador. She is coached by Bruce Hawkins.

Evan Zhu (Aug. 15, 1998), Greenbelt, Md. – Zhu won the boys’ singles title at the China Junior 7 Beijing ITF Junior Circuit event in Beijing, China. He is coached by Frank Salazar.
