John Lansville joined the USTA Player Development staff as Manager of Elite Player Development at the beginning of 2004. He joined the USTA National Staff after working seven years for the USTA/Southern California Section as Manager of Player Development/High Performance.

Prior to working for the SCTA, John was the men’s and women's assistant coach at the University of Redlands, where he led the University of Redlands top female singles player to the NCAA singles title and assisted in developing seven All-Americans during his two years there. While he was coaching at the University of Redlands, he earned a masters degree in educational counseling in 1996.

John was an NCAA All-American at the University of Redlands, where he graduated in 1994 with a B.A. in Business Administration and Political Science.
