Jay Devashetty- National Coach, Women's Tennis

Jay Devashetty was hired on September 12, 2011 as a full-time National Coach in our USTA Training Center – East office. In this role, Jay reports to Jay Berger, Head of Men’s Tennis and Ola Malmqvist, Head of Women’s Tennis.
Jay’s responsibilities include facilitating coaching and training programs to assist in the development of our best prospects at the USTA Training Centers as well as at other locations.
Jay has been a part-time coach in our USTA Training Center – East office since March 31, 2011.
In addition to his part-time duties, Jay was working at the Hardscrabble Club in Brewster, NY where he has served as Director of Player Development since 2003. During his tenure at Hardscrabble, he has served as primary coach to four different USTA National Champions and four players who have reached the top 100 in the ITF World Junior Rankings. Previously, Jay spent five years working at the Randy Mani Tennis Academy, first as a Tennis Pro, and then as Assistant Director.
