Gavin Johnston joined the full-time staff of USTA Player Development on March 17, 2014, as Administrative Assistant, Training Center-East. He is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility as well as providing assistance to Player Development staff.
Gavin had been working at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on a part-time basis since January 2012 as a Front Desk Attendant in the Indoor Tennis Building. Prior to joining the National Tennis Center staff, Gavin worked for the New York Jets as a Football Operations Assistant, assisting with daily scheduling, team travel, recruiting activities and as a liaison to all team members.
Gavin received a bachelor of science degree in sports management from St. John's University in 2008.
