Twelve top juniors have been nominated to represent the U.S. in the qualifying rounds of Junior Davis and Fed Cup by BNP Paribas (16-and-under) and World Junior Tennis (14-and-under), the world’s premier junior team competitions. The events will be played April 25-27 in Montreal.

The North/Central American and Caribbean Final Qualifying rounds consist of three days of round-robin play, with each matchup consisting of two singles matches and one doubles match. The top two countries from each four-country pool will advance to the World Junior Tennis Finals, taking place on clay courts in Prostejov, Czech Republic, Aug. 5-10.

With the U.S. set to host the Junior Davis and Fed Cup Finals at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., for the next three years, the host nation automatically earned a spot in the finals. In Montreal, the U.S. Junior Davis and Fed Cup teams will be competing for seeding in the finals, which will be played Sept. 25-30.

The U.S. is the defending champion in both Junior Fed Cup and boys’ World Junior Tennis.
