Thirty-two of America's top 14-and-under tennis players will compete for entry into January's Les Petits As tournament, in Tarbes, France – widely considered to be the most prestigious 14-and-under event in the world – at the Les Petits As USA Playoffs.

The playoff will take place Oct. 30-Nov. 3 at Club Med in Sandpiper Bay, Fla.

Sixteen boys and 16 girls will play on hard courts over the five days, with the top three finishers on each side earning entry into the main tournament in January. Those three players – plus a fourth, to be selected by USTA Player Development at a later date – will also represent the U.S. in the Junior International Teen Tennis event in Bolton, England, on the trip overseas.

A number of former Les Petits As champions have gone on to become No. 1 in the world, including Rafael Nadal, Kim Clijsters and Martina Hingis. Former American winners include Michael Chang, Donald Young, Bethanie Mattek-Sands, Frances Tiafoe and CiCi Bellis. In addition, Lindsay Davenport was a finalist and 2017 US Open champion Sloane Stephens and finalist Madison Keys were both participants.
