Lori McNeil joined the USTA Player Development staff as a full time National Coach for Women's tennis and is located in Boca Raton.
Lori played 19 years on the WTA tour (1984-2002), reaching a career-high singles ranking of no. 9 in the summer of 1988. A winner of 12 career singles titles and over 30 doubles titles, Lori represented the U.S. in Fed Cup competition nine times, posting a 6-5 record. She reached the semifinals at the 1987 US Open and at Wimbledon in 1994. Since retiring from the tour, Lori has turned to coaching, working with Amanda Coetzer since 2001. She worked as Senior Tennis Professional at the Junior Tennis Champions Center in College Park, MD.
Lori also serves as Chair of the Lori McNeil Tennis Foundation and the Lori McNeil Celebrity Tennis Classic, which has raised over $20,000 to help youth tennis programs in Bermuda.
