About the Fellowship Program

The 2023 Fellowship in Tennis Coaching & Leadership Powered by Athleta is designed to train the next generation of leaders in tennis coaching through an integrative approach that focuses on the core competencies of foundational coaching.

The USTA is particularly proud to partner with Athleta in this very important initiative. Athleta’s commitment to empowering women and girls to reach their limitless potential is strongly reflected in their support of this program that is creating exceptional new pathways for aspiring female coaches.

This program is open to current and future tennis coaches of all genders, backgrounds and experiences. Its goal is to create a pipeline of qualified professionals that will recalibrate the number of diverse tennis leaders in the industry—and that will, in turn, attract, train and shape the next generation of participants.

The Fellowship provides aspiring professionals with a unique, immersive, and accelerated training opportunity with the USTA. Structured to deliver significant experiential and leadership training, fellows may concurrently complete the Level 2 Certification requirements with the coach certifying organizations accredited by the USTA.
