The monthly USTA Player Development Player and Coach Honor Roll recognizes the top performing young Americans and their coaches each month.
 
Here’s a look at some of the most outstanding performances turned in by American tennis players ages 20 and younger in February:
 
Louisa Chirico (May 16, 1996), Harrison, N.Y. – Chirico, a U.S. Junior Fed Cup team champion, qualified and reached the final of the USTA Pro Circuit $25,000 tournament in Surprise, Ariz. She works with USTA National Coach Jay Gooding.
 
Lauren Davis (Oct. 9, 1993), Gates Mills, Ohio – Davis captured the singles title at the USTA Pro Circuit $100,000 event in Midland, Mich., boosting her world ranking to a career-high No. 72. She works with Carlos Zapata at the Evert Tennis Academy.
 
Bjorn Fratangelo (July 19, 1993), Pittsburgh – Fratangelo reached the final of the USTA Pro Circuit $15,000 event in Harlingen, Texas – his third Pro Circuit final appearance in 2013. He is coached by his father Mario.
 
Luke Jacob Gamble (April 18, 1995), San Jose, Calif. – Gamble captured the boys’ singles title at the Copa Universidad Galileo ITF Junior event in Gautemala, edging fellow Americans Jake Stefanik (Jan. 5, 1996; Coral Springs, Fla.) in the semifinals and Anudeep Kodali (Oct. 14, 1997; Fayetteville, N.C.) in a three-set title match.
 
Nicole Gibbs (March 3, 1993), Cincinnati – The reigning NCAA singles champion and Stanford star reached the title match at the USTA Pro Circuit $25,000 event in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., where fellow American Madison Brengle prevailed. She is currently playing under head coach Lele Forood at Stanford University.
 
Michaela Gordon (July 26, 1999), Los Altos Hills, Calif. – Gordon won the girls’ singles title at the International Junior Open Club Casablanca ITF junior tournament in Mexico City, Mexico, beating fellow American Olivia Hauger (Sept. 26, 1997; Tulsa, Okla.) in the final. She works with Greg Shearer and Brian Eagle at the Eagle Fustar Tennis Academy, as well as John Hubble.
 
Meghan Kelly (Oct. 28, 1997), Falmouth, Maine – Kelly did well in both singles and doubles in February, reaching the girls’ singles final at the Copa Universidad Galileo ITF Junior event in Guatemala and, with fellow American Claudia Wiktorin, winning the doubles title at the Copa Gatorade Internacional ITF junior event in El Salvador. She works with Celeste Frey and Francisco Montoya at the Manchester Athletic Club.
 
Alexandra Miller-Krasilnikov (Sept. 21, 1997), Boca Raton, Fla. – Miller-Krasilnikov teamed with Brazilian Mariana Mayer Humberg to win the girls’ doubles title at the Copa Universidad Galileo ITF junior event in Guatemala. She is coached by her father Sergei.
 
Nathan Ponwith (April 20, 1998), Scottsdale, Ariz. – Ponwith swept the boys’ singles and doubles titles at the Copa Gatorade Internacional ITF junior event in El Salvador. Nathan is coached by Lou Belkin.
 
Sydney Riley (Dec. 10, 1997), Dallas – Riley reached the girls’ singles title match at the Jalisco Junior Cup ITF junior event in Jalisco, Mexico. She is coached by Dave Licker.
 
Claudia Wiktorin (Dec. 6, 1996), Davidson, N.C. – Wiktorin reached the singles semifinals and captured the doubles title, with American Meghan Kelly, at the Copa Gatorade Internacional ITF junior event in El Salvador. She works with Jacopo Tezza at the Evert Tennis Academy.
