Freddie Rodriguez - National Coach, Women's Tennis

Federico "Freddie" Rodriguez was hired on November 15, 2010 as a USTA National Coach, Women’s Tennis. Rodriguez facilitates coaching and training programs to assist in the development of our best prospects at the USTA Training Centers, as well as at other locations.
 
Prior to joining the USTA Player Development, he was the Director of Tennis at the Coosa Country Club in Rome, Ga, where Freddie coached a number of top junior prospects. He also served as the coach in the Nike Junior Tour for the Southern team and worked as the Director of Boarding Summer Camps for the Darlington Schools in Rome, Ga.
 
As a tennis player, Rodriguez was a member of the Dominican Republic Davis Cup Team from 2004 to 2006 and represented the Dominican Junior National Team in several ITF tournaments from 1992-1998. In 1997, he won the gold medal at the Dominican Republic National Games.
 
Rodriguez attended Shorter College and was a member of its tennis team which earned a ranking as high as No. 2 in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
